Hiring of Waiters
Requirements:
Minimum of 20 years of age, reads & speaks fluent English, have a positive attitude and well groomed.
Scope of Position:
Responsible for the guest’s satisfaction during all meal periods within the Food and beverage areas of the resort, in conjunction with the Food and beverage team. To efficiently serve our guests in a professional courteous manner, while attending to their needs and requirements. To be diplomatic and sincere in all situations involving any aspect of Food and Beverage operation, where the reputation of the hotel is represented.
Main Duties:
1. Financial
• To assist each Restaurant Manager and supervisors in running their outlets at an acceptable P&L
• To fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets
• To have a thorough understanding of all food and beverage offerings, and proactively up sell them to our guests
2. Operational
• Liaises with Restaurant Manager/ Supervisor to ensure prompt and efficient repair and maintenance.
• Makes frequent recommendations to Management for modernization of equipment, service methods and presentation to improve guest satisfaction.
• Attends regular meetings and briefings to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
• Coordinates with all members of the operational team regarding operational problems/issues.
• Provides Management with creative ideas to project and enhance the image of the hotel.
• Ensures that all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly adhered too in all areas of responsibility.
• Maintains a high standard of service, beverage and food within allocated operational areas.
• Is present during peak operational times, festive period, major international holidays Etc…
• Ensures that He/She, reports for duty punctually maintaining a high standard of personal grooming, wearing the correct uniform at all times.
• Ensures that He/She have a complete understanding of and adhere to the resorts policies and procedures.
• Ensures that He/She participate in any scheduled training or development programs that may improve personal or departmental standards.
3. Other Duties
• To ensure to be harmonious and protect the environment and cultural surroundings
• Always strive to perform any additional duties and responsibilities given
• Actively support and have good comprehension of the Core purpose, Vision, Core values, Core passions, virtuous circle, Best practices, Goals, Objectives and Our way
• To respond to change in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company or resort.
