Job Opportunities at Holiday Island Resort

We are looking for young and dynamic candidate to fill the following post(s)
   
Food & Beverage Department

Supervisor  x 2 (Local / Foreign)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Meet, greet and seat, take orders from and process making maximum use of outlet waiters and supervise service of food and beverage and all related activities at the assigned restaurants/bars in the manner prescribed by the establishment.
2. Meet with guest requirements and make sure all the guests are satisfied with the service.
3. Supervise and check the preparation and maintenance of all work stations, work floor & back of the house areas are kept clean and orderly fashioned at all times.
4. Ensure all food and beverage outlets are clean hygienic condition at all times.
5. Assist in planning layout & lay up and preparation for services.
6. Regularly check the arrangements of tables, table lay-up and the accompaniments.
7. Supervise the preparation of all beverages in the still room or behind the counter.
8. Maintain the control an adequate stock of commodities at all the outlets.
9. Check daily wines sales, cocktail sales at the end of the day and make sales target for next day.
10. Conduct daily briefings and inform about the special events, availabilities and non availabilities and advice to up sell the products.
11. Give departmental orientation to newly recruited staff and train the staff according to the SOP of the outlets.
12. Assist in taking and maintaining inventories in proper condition.
13. Maintain a good standard of personal hygiene and grooming and supervise the application of safe and hygienic work practices of all the staffs.
14. Solve problem of the guests/staffs and report to F&B coordinator and F&B Manager.
15. Maintain a high self respect and abide by a code of conduct exemplifying the standard of the operation to fellow workers.
16. Train, appraise and assist in staff induction.
17. Identify operational difficulties and take corrective measures to eliminate it.
18. Responsible for supervision of all the waiters and restaurant helpers working at the assigned station and take responsibility of the out let

Requirements:

- Should be fluent in written and spoken English
- Relevant diploma or higher education in the field is required.
- Highly motivated and willing to learn with a “can do” attitude
- Experience in the field is essential, preferably in a 5* resort environment

HR Assistant (Local / Foreign)
Duties & Responsibilities:

Greeting / Receiving new comers.
Arranging accommodation for new comers.
Collecting and maintenance of staff information and records.
Preparing employees selection notification form.
Provide company name tag.
Arranging employee’s uniforms.
Filing documents.
Terminated employees; ensure to handover all company property before leaving resort.
Answering telephone calls.

Requirements:

- Should be fluent in written and spoken English and Dhivehi (for locals). C or above in 2 subjects in G.C.E O’Level is preferred.
- Experience in the field is an added advantage.
- Highly motivated and willing to learn with a “can do” attitude.
- Good knowledge of computer, especially MS Excel, Word, Power point.
