Laundry Supervisor (Male)
Job Functions
• To ensure that the cleanliness, maintenance, stock levels and control of linen and uniforms is in accordance with hotel standards
.
Job Responsibilities
To supervise and assist in the receipt, sorting, counting and storing of all hotel linen and uniforms to ensure that departmental procedures are adhered to.
To inventory and stock-take uniforms and linen with the assistance of the laundry/uniform attendants.
To ensure laundered uniforms ready for use on a daily basis.
To ensure the linen room is cleaned and maintained according to departmental standards.
To ensure that the hotel policy regarding the exchange of soiled uniforms for clean ones is maintained at all times.
To ensure that damaged uniforms and linen are given to the Seamstress for repair.
To ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all linen room equipment, to report any effects to the Housekeeping Supervisor and to follow-up on requested repairs.

JOB SPEC’s
dynamic and highly motivated with supervisory qualities
Communicate with all levels of hierarchy with ease
Hotel School Graduates and/ or experience in a similar position
Outgoing personality who fosters relationship with others in a business level. Computer literate.
Experience working in a multicultural team including working in a resort environment
Flexible working hours, hands on, patient, peoples person and very service oriented
