Sous Chef Team Member Cafeteria
Job Functions
1. To assist in creating optimum employees satisfaction by providing the highest standard of food quality and presentation according to hotel procedures. Assists the Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef in supervising preparation of all food products and perform in team kitchen. Provide highest standard for food preparation and production, presentation. Creativity, flexible, guideline, organize, work office, training for team kitchen. 
Duties & Responsibilities
• To proceed in the preparation and service of food ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times
• To ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time 
• To ensure that the Kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required
• To ensure that food is prepared and cooked according to specific recipes and wastage is minimized
• To maintain standard of hygiene and cleanliness in team kitchen and related areas 
• Check mise-en place and preparation procedures ensuring that procedures are correctly followed                           
• Control and analyze ongoing basis level of followings;                
 Cost, sales, production, preparation, quality and presentation, team member satisfaction, hygiene.
• Recommends hiring and firing to the Executive Chef and for Promotion of staff.
• Ensures proper training to obtain highest food standard and presentation in any outlet. 
• Supervises the proper preparation and presentation of all food items according to established standards.
JOB SPEC’s
 dynamic and highly motivated with leadership qualities
 Communicate with all levels of hierarchy with ease
 Hotel School Graduates and/ or experience in a similar position
 Outgoing personality who fosters customer relation. Computer literate.
 Experience working in a multicultural team including working in a resort environment
 Flexible working hours, hands on, patient, people’s person and friendly.
