Training Manager (Male/Female)
Job Functions
1. Responsible for managing the training and development processes of all hotel employees. Ensures that the hotel achieves its goals by providing the training required by employees in order to perform proficiently. Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, coordinating and ultimately administering the training and development functions of the resort.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensures that every department compiles and maintains a complete and up-to-date associate orientation manual.
• Prepares, communicates and implements an annual training plan for the hotel.
• Ensures that regular, scheduled training plans are subsequently implemented and followed in all departments.
• Conducts training and orientation programs for associates at all levels.
• Prepares monitors and controls the hotel’s annual training budget.
• Ensures that a sufficient number of qualified departmental trainers are available in every department.
• Ensures the maximum utilization and productivity of department trainers in each department.
• Keeps a comprehensive record of all training activities and maintains the efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
• Monitors and controls the use of the hotel training facilities and equipment.
• Ensures that said facilities are properly fitted and suitably equipped; makes recommendations for improvements and upgrades, as dictated by the needs of the hotel.
• Keeps abreast with innovations and developments of training techniques and methods.
• Monitors the standards of performance in all departments and takes or suggests appropriate actions, as and when required.
• Assists the Human Resources Department with the preparation and implementation of an effective associate communication program, recruitment and performance review procedures.
• Makes recommendation for the outsourcing of training courses, if and when required and gives suggestions for inviting external resource speakers (e.g. academic and industry professionals) as part of the associates training programs.
• Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate associates.

Hiring Criteria
1 Bachelor Degree preferably in hospitality and/ or in a relevant field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial level preferably international hotels with proven record of achievements in people development
3. Professional training skills and knowledge of working practices and principles in a 5-star hospitality setting
4. Excellent command of the English language
5. Ability to express effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication
6. Good interpersonal skills
7. Good leadership, organizational and administrative skills
8. Strong in driving results and people management and development
