The Minor Food Group began in 1980 with one pizza restaurant in Thailand. Today, it owns, operates or franchises more than 10 brands and a profitable system of more than 1,000 restaurants and in 13 countries across Asia. In 2009, the Minor Food Group’s system of company owned and franchised restaurants had sales greater than US$ 550 million.
Having owned, operated and franchise, quick service and fast casual restaurants for 30 years, the Minor Food Group is expanding internationally by owning and operating its own company owned outlets and by franchising selected brands with partners in various international growth markets.
We consider our core brands to be The Pizza Company, Swensen’s, The Coffee Club and Thai Express because we have the opportunity to expand these brands throughout Asia by developing company owned outlets or franchising. Our core brands have significant growth potential in every market in Asia and we are constantly looking for franchise partners who share our passion for retail food service and want to join with us to successfully expand our brands worldwide.
