We are seeking for an enthusiastic, qualified & experienced
professional to join our company for the following position to take the full
responsibility on comparing the costs, quality and services in order to get the
best value to the company.
Position: Purchasing Manager
Salary & Benefits: Negotiable depending on experience and
qualification
Location: Malé Office (during pre-opening)
Professional qualifications: Candidates need to have completed
bachelor's degree with major in business management or candidates who have
completed master's degree in business management are preferred.
Experience: At least 2 to 3 years experience in Luxury Hotel Brands in
Asia with operational experience, Ability to multi-task in a fast paced
environment, Must understand inventory management, purchasing and sourcing,
Must enjoy working in a collaborative environment, Ability to mentor direct
reports and identify opportunities for growth within the department. Strong
computer skills, with expertise in Excel, as well as other business operating
systems, Strong organizational abilities, oral & written communications and
interpersonal skills, Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Order
Fulfillment processes and inventory management methodologies, Ability to analyze
and make improvement recommendations, Inventory level management and planning,
matching forecast demand with on hand, on order, or in transit quantities,
Strong customer service orientation
Personal attributes/Personality: High degree of focus on Quality, Team
player, Proven leadership capabilities, Self starter, Plenty of drive and
enthusiasm, Creative person, Always ready to challenge the status quo,
Excellent organization and coordination skills, Excellent communication skills
- ability to communicate with peers and management at all levels of the
organization, Capable of adapting to different cultures and ways of life, Sound
financial awareness.
Languages: Must be fluent in written and spoken English, other
languages a definite advantage.
