EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

As Executive Secretary you will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager including but not limited to answering the telephone; receiving and distributing mail/correspondence; gathering data and compiling various reports for the management and maintaining files.  You will be involved in high level guest contact and will be exposed to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of diplomacy, discretion and judgment.

Qualification and Experience

....• Diploma/Degree in Business Adminstration or Business Management
....• Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Secretary
....• Advanced MS Office skills

Duties and Responsibilities

....• Responsible for overseeing the Executive Office
....• Maintain the General Manager’s diary and scheduling of meetings
....• Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
....• Prepare presentations, reports and general correspondence
....• Responsible for the daily Guest welcome letters
....• Attend meetings as directed by the General Manager and take minutes when required
....• Act as liaison between the General Manager and the Department Heads
....• Participate in the Manager on Duty program.

HEAD GARDENER

As a Head Gardener, you will oversee the maintenance and development of the resort’s garden.

You will manage a team of gardeners, training of new employee’s and maintaining morale on daily basis.

Qualification and Experience

....• Three years experience as a Head Gardener within a resort
....• Horticultural qualification
....• Knowledge of traditional gardening methods and trends
....• Good oral and written communication skills
....• Ability to plan and implement gardening programs and policies to train and supervise the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
....• Implement work programs for Gardening Team
....• Assist with performance appraisals of all gardeners, training and development needs.
....• Inspect all public and guest areas to ensure that development needs are being met.
