The Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives is tailored to provide an exceptional experience for both couples and the family market. We are now actively searching for a Guest Relations Supervisor;

Position: GUEST RELATIONS SUPERVISOR
An all – inclusive 4 star premium resort in the South Ari Atoll, Centara Grand offers a unique vacation experience to both families and romantic couples.

As a Guest Relations Supervisor you will be responsible to oversee and drive the daily Guest Relations operation. Leading a multicultural team you will be tasked with ensuring a high standard of customer service for all our guests from check in through until departure. The Guest Relations Supervisor will also play an active role in the delivery of job task training, resolution of guest complaints and issues as well as the provision of special guest amenities.

Job Task
  • Facilitate the Arrival & Check in of our guests.
  • Accurately convey information about the resort’s facilities and options.
  • Maintain accurate guest information in the resort operating system.
  • Assist with arranging guest activities and excursions.
  • Fulfilment of guest special requests.
  • Organise the provision of contracted guest amenities and promotional offers.
  • Solve any guest issues or complaints.
  • Motivate & train the guest relations team to Centara standards.
  • Monitor the punctuality and performance of the guest relations team.

Job SPEC’s
  • Matured, dynamic and highly motivated.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as GRO (or similar) in an island based environment.
  • Hotel School Graduate and/or University qualifications
  • An Outgoing personality who fosters customer relations and team work.
  • Well developed computer skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural team
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, hands on approach and very service oriented.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Multiple languages will be an advantage.
  • Strong desire to provide memorable guest experiences by exceeding expectations.
  • A desire to learn and develop in the industry of hospitality management.
