BEVERAGE MANAGER & MIXOLOGIST - 1
Scope of Position: To support the F&B team in providing the highest
degree of bar service and promoting beverage sales at every opportunity. Must
demonstrate expert knowledge of drinks recipes, serving techniques, alcohol
content and correct gas mixes licensing laws and chemistry of beverage. You
will be required to reflect the atmosphere of our bars (Chill bar, Spa Juice
bar, Longitude dispense bar, Beach Bar and Coffee & Tea lounge) and create
innovative and funky organic cocktails and drinks selections. Should maintain a
high and visible profile on day to day operation engaging with guest and
providing personalized service and recommendation regarding drink selection.
Also, must keep up to date with market trends and make use of local products in
order to develop a creative and innovative cocktail menu.
Experience: A minimum of
five years experience within five star luxury hotel or major city bar. Must
have experience managing bars, bar staff, scheduling, developing relationship
with vendors, bar inventory, cost control, etc.
Qualifications: Work experience
in a similar capacity Hotel or Resort or major city bar for five years, good
knowledge of mixing drinks and to have some basic knowledge on molecular
drinks. Must have experience managing small teams.
Special Skills: Full
knowledge of the operations of bar procedures and set up service. Innovative
drinks for the preference of the guests and flair, good guest contact skills.
Skills in training, mentoring, motivating and leading hosts.
Languages: Excellent
English communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and abilities in
other languages is desirable. Knowledge of Dhivehi also seen as an advantage
