TRAINING MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and drive a learning, service and high performance culture
- Conduct training needs analysis of the hotel and its departments
- Develop annual training plans and forecast of annual training budget
- Evaluate effectiveness of training and development activities
- Assist Department Heads and make recommendations regarding departmental training and employee development
- Work with the Department Heads to create, review and update Policies, Procedures and ‘on job training’ schedules to meet departmental operating objectives
- Ensure the effective administration of personnel training records and files
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree or diploma, preferably in hospitality
- Minimum of 3 years relevant international work experience
- Preferably 5 star deluxe background from a resort environment
- Structured, proven record in employee development
- Previous work experience in a multi-cultural environment
- Ideally previous work experience in a remote location
- High level of interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent command of English in both verbal and written communication
- Experience in driving change would be an asset
- Positive attitude, open minded, outgoing, energetic
