With our Head Office located in Male’, we carry exclusive distribution rights for an extensive range of high quality channels. Currently there are over 100 quality channels available on our platform ranging from Kids, Movies, Infotainment, Music, Sports to General Entertainment. Medianet service is available directly to Male’, Hulhumale’ and K. Atoll Islands. Additionally, we provide service in Addu Atoll as well.

With the launch of Medianet Digital, Medianet has revolutionized the Cable TV viewing in the country. New services are being introduced regularly and customers get to enjoy very special features that are part and parcel of Medianet Digital. High Definition (HD) channels have added a new meaning to ‘clarity’ to the already crystal clear picture quality of the Medianet Digital Standard Definition (SD) channels. Medianet customers are able to enjoy the best of HD channels that are available in the region.

MediaNet Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for the following positions.

HOD; Sales
Department / Section: Sales Department
(Report to: General Manager, directly answerable to the Broad of Directors)

Main Responsibilities:
The performance of HOD Sales is key to achieving the Company’s revenue and profit goals and is directly responsible for the sales force.

The HOD’s has a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership. Specific duties include:
  • Responsible for the functioning of all sales channels including direct sales, corporate sales and online and telesales.
  • Achieving targets for revenue and sales growth.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to achieve alignment and integration between sales and marketing functions.
  • Ensure accountability of Manager Residential Sales and Manager Corporate Sales.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • A thorough understanding of practical business process and sales processes.
  • Three years experience in a management post, preferably in sales or marketing and experience in managing a large group of staff.
  • Excellent PR skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A first degree with substantial experience is also acceptable.

Salary:  Mrf 18,000 to Mrf 25,000


HOD; Regional Operations
Department / Section: Regional Operations Department
(Report to: General Manager, directly answerable to the Broad of Directors)

Main Responsibilities:
  • The HOD Regional Operations is responsible for the smooth operations and improving the viability and accountability of all Regional Operations
  • The HOD is expected to spend the major part of his time at Regional Centers.
  • Reorganize current operations of Regional Operations.
  • Set protocols for communications and processes between Media net male’ and Regional Operations.
  • Work with regional managers to streamline operations.
  • Act as the focal point for all services provided through Media net Male’ to regional operations, including sales and marketing function, network and infrastructure service administrative affairs amongst others.

Qualifications & Experience:
  •  Masters Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • A thorough understanding of practical business process.
  • Three years experience in a management post, managing a large group of staff.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.

Customer Service Assistant
Department / Section: Call Centre/Marketing & Customer Service
(Report to: Customer Service Manager, Supervisor)

Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Handles and resolves customer complaints.

Qualifications & Experience:
- O/L with atleast 3 passes
- Good communication skills
- 1 year of experience in similar capacity
- Able to speak fluently in English and Dhivehi language
- Able to work in shift duties

Salary:  Mrf 4,500 to Mrf 6,000
