Viceroy Hotel Group, a Los Angeles based North American hotel management company is opening its very first resort in the Maldives in Shaviyani Atoll on Vagaru island.

Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • College degree, preferable in hotel and restaurant management
  • 2-3 year as an assistant outlet manager
  • Good knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, menu writing, maintenance, merchandising and accounting
  • Computer literate
  • Good attitude and career oriented
  • Flexible and outgoing personality

Waiter
  • Fluent in reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • 1 year’s food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience.
  • Good attitude and career oriented
  • Flexible and outgoing personality
  • Fair knowledge of food, preparation and beverages

Commis
  • 2 - 3years experience in similar role
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel properties
  • Experience in modern and traditional style cuisine
  • Has sound knowledge of Haccp and hygiene Asia
  • Preferably has remote location experience.

Cook
  • 1 - 2years experience in similar role
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel properties
  • Experience in modern and traditional style cuisine
  • Has sound knowledge of Haccp and hygiene Asia
  • Preferably has remote location experience

Steward
  • Previous experience within a luxury hotel or similar position HACCP trained and qualified.
  • Prep opening experience for luxury branded hotel is an advantage.
  • Able to have good knowledge Chemical
  • Abel to speak English

Demi Chef
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel properties
  • Experience in modern and traditional Thai, Indonesian, Malay style cuisine
  • Has sound knowledge of Haccp and hygiene Asia
  • Preferably has remote location experience.

Chef De Partie
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel properties
  • Experience in modern and traditional Thai, Indonesian, Malay style cuisine
  • Creative and innovative (able to come up with new ideas for menu times.)
  • Has sound knowledge of Haccp and hygiene Asia
  • Preferably has remote location experience

Executive Pastry Chef
  • 4 years previous experience as a Exec Pastry chef
  • Experience in high end luxury hotels , four seasons, Ritz carlton, Mandarin oriental, Shangri-La, Six senses etc.
  • Experienced in SOP creation, MC systems, Ordering, Budget Control, staff training, recipe costing.
  • Experienced and accreditation in Haccp food hygiene Asia
  • Hands on management style
  • Flexible in operation and able to work in remote locations / logistically challenging locations
  • Sound knowledge of Asian, European cuisine
  • Able to lead a brigade of 08 chefs including employee cafeteria

Junior Boat Captain
  • Should have speed boat driving license
  • 2-3 years’ experience
  • Should be able to speak and writing in English
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Customer friendly and good knowledge of the Industry

Russian Speaking Supervisor
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Russian Language.
  • Has 2  years of relevant experience as a supervisor in Front of House area, preferably in a luxury resort
  • Handles all guest compliments, comments, observations and complaints timely and effectively achieving full guest satisfaction
  • Technical education in Hospitality is preferred
  • Ability to remain positive and calm under pressure
  • Must have mathematical skills, computer software aptitude and some hotel operation knowledge
  • Knowledge of specific hospitality industry applications is desirable (Opera preferred)
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Demonstrates superior organizational skills
  • Must have exceptional guest relation and interpersonal skills

Korean Guest Service Agent
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Korean Language.
  • 1 years of experience preferred
  • Technical education in Hospitality is preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
  • Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Must have mathematical skills, computer software aptitude and some hotel operation knowledge
  • Knowledge of specific hospitality industry applications is desirable (Opera preferred)
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Demonstrates superior organizational skills
  • Must have exceptional guest relation and interpersonal skills

Airport Representative
  • Good English speaking abilities
  • 2 - 3 years of experience preferred
  • Technical education in Hospitality or at the Airport is preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
  • Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Must have mathematical skills, computer software aptitude and some hotel operation knowledge
  • Knowledge of specific hospitality industry applications is desirable (Opera preferred)
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills
  • Must have exceptional guest relation and interpersonal skills
  • Is able to delegate responsibilities and manage many tasks at one time

Telephone Receptionist
  • Good English speaking abilities
  • 0 - 1 years of experience preferred
  • Technical education in Hospitality or a Call Center is preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
  • Superior time management skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Bell Attendant
  • Good English speaking abilities
  • 1-2years of experience preferred
  • Technical education in Hospitality is preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
  • Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Must have mathematical skills, computer software aptitude and some hotel operation knowledge
  • Knowledge of specific hospitality industry applications is desirable (Opera preferred)
