Reservations Manager
Requirements
To maximise revenue generation and average room rates for the hotel
through actively promoting and selling available rooms to guests. To achieve
occupancy and average rate objectives while maintaining rate integrity and
maximising the revenue per available room. To maximise revenue generation
during peak and non-peak periods by applying and practicing seasonal pricing
strategies in order to stabilise business periods and create volume while
maintaining rates.
- Maintains a high guest service focus through a “Can Do (Vibrant = STAR) …” & flexible attitude.
- Always try to go the “extra mile” with every single guest and anticipate his/her needs
- Handle all customer requests in a polite, efficient manner and ensured high level of customer service is consistently maintained. Ensure Reservations Team Leader is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the customer or other departments. Maintain effective communication on the activities of the Business Development BU in order to provide the best possible service.
- Ensure all customer feedback, negative and positive are dealt with immediately and are recorded, followed up according to set standards. Make certain negative feedback is not repeated.
- Understands and can operate reservations activities across different markets and segments; ie. Corporate, Groups, FIT, etc.; understanding the differing market needs and profiles and communicate and facilitate services towards them.
- Minimum 2 years experience in well reputed 5* resort hotel
- Working command of English
- Proficiency in Opera PMS system and MS office programs
