Executive Sous Chef
At the heart of the world’s most idyllic island destinations, Anantara
Resort Maldives occupies its own cluster of islands set in a sparkling
turquoise lagoon, comprising of Anantara Dhigu, Anantara Veli and Naladhu
Maldives.
An opportunity exists for an Executive Sous Chef to join our team of
experienced professionals. If you are willing to take up the challenge, and can
fulfill the following requirements then we would love to hear from you:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the entire kitchen operation
- Assist in preparation of manpower and budget plan of the departments to achieve an efficient usage of labor, considering business needs and seasonal trends
- Manage menu preparation and pricing in line with the stated F&B objectives of the hotel and the brand
- Develop new menus and food items to meet the taste and dining requirements of the guests.
- Maintain sensitivity to local cultural traditions and adhere to religious beliefs in preparation and services of all food on premises
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food products to ensure maximum quality at all times
- Coach and guide new members of the team, proper orientation training and ongoing training and development for team members
- Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene, and adherence with all Health and Safety standards
Requirements;
- Degree or vocational certificate in culinary arts or related field
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- IT literate
- Minimum 5 years experience including management post or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Candidates must also show stability in jobs and not have multiple
postings for short periods of employment, and must also show a steady growth
from the first job to the most recent.
