JOB VACANCY FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT –REPORTING TO FC
Tasks
- To post month end journals on time and provide necessary reports requested by Director of Finance to meet the deadlines.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts as required
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with monthly closings
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
- Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable & General Cashier
- Assist with payroll administration
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the self audit processes
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Reconciling Intercompany & Corporate accounts.
- To lead by example at all times.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Education level:
- College degree or equivalent
- knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- knowledge of financial reporting
- Technical accounting skills
- Previous experience of general accounting
Experience / Knowledge Required:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in the field of hotel accounting
- Be fully conversant with Hotel/Resort Accounting Procedures.
- Exposure to Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashiering desirable
- Island Experience desired

- Good computer skills with minimum requirement of Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sun system, Opera, Material Control preferred.
