We are currently recruiting for the following positions.
CHEF DE PARTIE
- SOUTH EAST ASIAN CUISINE
DEMI CHEF - SOUTH
EAST ASIAN CUISINE
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 4-5 years experience in the capacity of a Chef de Partie –Asian Food
- Gained experience in the cuisine from the following localities: Thailand,Singapore,Malaysia andVietnam. Possessing experience in the area if Chinese and Japan cuisine would be an advantage
- Assisting the Sous Chef with developing menus and setting standard recipes which allow the resort to run at an acceptable food cost.
- Enthusiasm and drive for excellence
- Good command of written and spoken English
KITCHEN ARTIST
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure proper daily preparation and execution of carving and buffet decoration to exceed guest satisfaction and expectation
- work closely with the pastry chef & Garde manger Chef in regards to the decoration as per required standards
- Assisting the Chef de Cuisine in monitoring the use of standard recipes which allows the kitchen department to operate an acceptable food cost
- Enthusiasm and drive for excellence
- Good command of written and spoken English
CHEF DE PARTIE PASTRY
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the capacity of a Chef de Partie
- Assist running the pastry section of the kitchen
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings
- Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation
- Plan production to facilitate daily requirements
- Develop appropriate seasonal menu offerings
- Manage food cost controls to contribute to F&B revenue
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulation
BUTCHER
REQUIREMENT
- A minimum of 3-4 years experience in an equivalent level of a Resort
- Must be able to work in all areas of the kitchen depending on the daily requirement of the Head Chef
- Should possess good knowledge of current food trend with reference to presentation and style
- Must be able to instruct and lead subordinates trough their daily requirements in food preparation
