Food & Beverage Captain – Maldivian Only

Scope of Position: 
To ensure polite, efficient and the highest standard of restaurant service in accordance with the resorts food and beverage procedures and to the satisfaction of all guests.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years experience within five star luxury hotels and resort. Any equivalent or combinations of beverage related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications:  GCE O/L or A/L

Special Skills: Full knowledge of the operations of bar and restaurant procedures, set up and service in addition to the resorts SPL’s policies regarding restaurant services.

Languages:   Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.  Knowledge and abilities in other languages would be beneficial. An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged.

Waiter – Maldivian Only

Scope of Position:
To ensure polite, efficient and the highest standard of restaurant service in accordance with the resorts food and beverage procedures and to the satisfaction of all guests.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience within five star luxury hotels and resort. Any equivalent or combinations of beverage related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications: GCE O/L or above

Special Skills:  Full knowledge of the operations of bar and restaurant procedures, set up and service in addition to the resorts SPL’s policies regarding restaurant services. Any courses relating to further knowledge of restaurant service are also preferred and welcomed.

Languages:  Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.  Knowledge and abilities in other languages would be beneficial. An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged

Commis – Maldivian Only

Scope of Position: 
To add culinary depth to the department by incorporating Vietnamese cuisines, working in all areas of the food and beverage department to enhance the culinary offerings of the resort. The Commis Chef prepares the daily mis-en-place and food items according to pre-determined recipes and dish specifications. Commis Chefs require good organizational skills and hygiene standards.
Experience:   Minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications:  Secondary School or above
Special Skills:  Willingness to learn new skills and work hard
Languages:  Excellent English communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and abilities in other languages is desirable. Knowledge of Dhivehi also seen as an advantage
