We are currently recruiting for the following positions.
KITCHEN ARTIST
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure proper daily preparation and execution of carving and buffet decoration to exceed guest satisfaction and expectation
- Work closely with the pastry chef & Garde manger Chef in regards to the decoration as per required standards
- Assisting the Chef de Cuisine in monitoring the use of standard recipes which allows the kitchen department to operate an acceptable food cost
- Enthusiasm and drive for excellence
- Good command of written and spoken English
PASTRY – CHEF
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the capacity of a Chef
- Assist running the pastry section of the kitchen
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings
- Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation
- Plan production to facilitate daily requirements
- Develop appropriate seasonal menu offerings
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulation
CHINESE CHEF – with show cooking skill
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the capacity of Chinese chef
- Coordinate the procurement of supplies required for the preparation of Chinese dishes
- Plans menus suitable for Chinese and international clientele
- Ability to read, to listen to, comprehend and communicate effectively in English and Chinese
