Junior Executive Sous Chef
The position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chef
De Cuisine role or similar, that has knowledge of daily operations and strong
in administrative work, good communication skills and have the basic acumen of
kitchen financials, able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and
Safety, SOP’s, costing and supplies, budgets and brand requirements, as the
above mentioned points will be a special part of his/ her duties.
The individual should be able to plan and organize departmental short
and long term goals, should have strong
command of the English language (ability to read, write and speak), ability to
plan and cost out new menu's.
The role of Assistant Executive Sous Chef will be a hands-on role and
you will take full responsibility for the management of all the kitchens with
the assistance and guidance of the Executive Sous Chef motivate and train the
team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently delivered.
Head Chef
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Western
cuisine, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is based on
uplifting our Western food offering across the resort The position is aimed at
a young dynamic individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar that has
knowledge of Asian food and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Head Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be expected to
motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role will be a strong leader
with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen financials,
able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing
and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
Bakery/Pastry Sous Chef
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in bakery with
extensive pastry knowledge at the same time, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary
operation, the role is based on uplifting our pastry and bakery offerings
across the resort The position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently
in a Sous Chef role or similar that has knowledge of bakery and pastry and a
fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of the Sous chef will
be a hands-on role, you will be expected to motivate and train the team and
ensuring a top quality product is consistently delivered. The ideal candidate
for the Sous Chef role will be a strong
leader with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen
financials, able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and Safety,
SOP’s, costing and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
Commi I
Specialized Baker. Additional knowledge of patisserie would be considered
as an added advantage.
Commi II
International hot kitchen. Knowledge of Asian or Italian Cuisine would
be considered as an added advantage.
Commi III
International hot kitchen. Knowledge of buffet preparation would be
considered as an added advantage.
