Chief Butcher
We are looking for well seasoned Chief Butcher to join our LUX*
Maldives Culinary operation, with strong experience in, basic acumen of kitchen
financials, able to run a streamlined butchery with solid control systems,
strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing, supplies and budgets. The position
is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chief Butcher role or
Assistant Chief Butcher role or similar that has knowledge of yielding and a
fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Chief Butcher will be a hands-on role and you will take
full responsibility for the management of the Butchery, motivate and train the
team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently delivered. The ideal
candidate for the Chief Butcher role will be a strong leader with good
communication skills. Knowledge of yielding is a must for the mentioned
position.
Junior Executive Sous Chef
The position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chef
De Cuisine role or similar, that has knowledge of daily operations and strong
in administrative work, good communication skills and have the basic acumen of
kitchen financials, able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and
Safety, SOP’s, costing and supplies, budgets and brand requirements, as the
above mentioned points will be a special part of his/ her duties.
The individual should be able to plan and organize departmental short
and long term goals, should have strong
command of the English language (ability to read, write and speak), ability to
plan and cost out new menu's.
The role of Junior Executive Sous Chef will be a hands-on role and you
will take full responsibility for the management of all the kitchens with the
assistance and guidance of the Executive Sous Chef motivate and train the team
and ensuring a top quality product is consistently delivered.
Teppanyaki Chef (Asian Head Chef)
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian food
and more especially Teppanyaki knowledge, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary
operation, the role is based on uplifting our Asian food offering in the
resort. This position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a
Sous Chef role or similar, that has knowledge of Asian food and Japanese
Teppanyaki concepts and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Head Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be expected to
motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role will be a strong leader
with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen financials,
able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing
and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
Asian Head Chef (Chinese) (Mandarin speaking)
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian food to
join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is based on uplifting our
Asian food offering in the resort. This position is aimed at a young dynamic
individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar, that has knowledge of
Asian food concepts and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Head Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be expected to
motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role will be a strong leader
with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen financials,

uplifting our Western food offering across the resort The position is aimed at
a young dynamic individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar that has
knowledge of Asian food and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Head Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be expected to
motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role will be a strong leader
with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen financials,
able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing
and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
Chief Steward
We are looking for well seasoned Chief Steward to join our LUX* Maldives
Culinary operation, with strong experience in, basic acumen of kitchen
financials, able to run and streamline the department with solid control
systems, strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing, supplies and budgets. The
position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chief Steward
role or Assistant Chief Steward Role or similar.
The role of Chief Steward will be a hands-on role and you will take
full responsibility for the management of the Stewarding department, motivate
and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Chief Steward role will be a strong
leader with good communication skills.
Commi I – Specialized Baker. Additional knowledge of patisserie would
be considered as an added advantage.
Commi II - International hot kitchen. Knowledge of Asian or Italian
Cuisine would be considered as an added advantage.
