FOOD & BEVERAGE PRODUCTION
Chief Butcher
We are looking for well seasoned Chief Butcher to join our LUX*
Maldives Culinary operation, with strong experience in, basic acumen of kitchen
financials, able to run a streamlined butchery with solid control systems,
strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing, supplies and budgets. The position
is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chief Butcher role or
Assistant Chief Butcher role or similar that has knowledge of yielding and a
fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Chief Butcher will be a hands-on role and you will take
full responsibility for the management of the Butchery, motivate and train the
team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently delivered. The ideal
candidate for the Chief Butcher role will be a strong leader with good
communication skills. Knowledge of yielding is a must for the mentioned
position.
Teppanyaki Chef (Asian Head Chef)
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian food
and more especially Teppanyaki knowledge, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary
operation, the role is based on uplifting our Asian food offering in the
resort. This position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a
Sous Chef role or similar, that has knowledge of Asian food and Japanese
Teppanyaki concepts and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Head Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be expected to
motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is consistently
delivered. The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role will be a strong leader
with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of kitchen financials,
able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and Safety, SOP’s, costing
and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
