We are currently looking for the following position:
Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- To plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s sales strategies.
- To act as a sales specialist and be responsible for maximizing revenue in the most profitable way in line with agreed targets.
- To commence product trainings and presentations for tour operators, travel agents and other accounts with potential business for the hotel. This will involve travelling.
- To maintain relationships and business with existing accounts, and to develop relationships and produce new business from potential accounts
- To negotiate leisure group and series bookings
- To represent the hotel on selected fairs and events
- To host FAM trips to the hotel
- To provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the sales department
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a five star hotel/resort in a similar capacity
- University degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hospitality Management
- Good problem solving, writing, and administrative and PR skills are a must. Highly interactive and people-friendly attitude
- Excellent / Native English communication skills both written and oral. Additional foreign language is an advantage.
- Ability to live in a multi-cultural, small island environment.
The position is property based on the resort island of Hadahaa,
Maldives
