Specialty Chef (Teppanyaki Chef)
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian food
and more especially Teppanyaki knowledge, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary
operation, the role is based on uplifting our Asian food offering in the
resort. This position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a
Sous Chef role or similar, that has knowledge of Asian food and Japanese
Teppanyaki concepts and a fine hand in molding juniors.
The role of Teppanyaki Chef will be a hands-on role, you will be
expected to motivate and train the team and ensuring a top quality product is
consistently delivered. The ideal candidate for the Teppanyaki Chef role will
be a strong leader with good communication skills and have the basic acumen of
kitchen financials, able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and
Safety, SOP’s, costing and supplies, budgets and Brand requirements.
