1. Area Marketing and Communications Manager
Job Description:
- Develop the PR strategy for the Maldives resorts and spas, obtaining approval from operational and functional leads, and then overseeing the implementation of the approved strategy.
- Create and maintain the relationships with the key stakeholders (including airlines, tourism authorities, owners & business partners) required to ensure the delivery of the PR strategy.
- Be aware of activities in the resort (F&B promotions, Spa promotions, VIP arrivals, new appointments or promotions of associates) that should trigger media interest – compile annual calendar of events and updates these quarterly.
- Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications and adherence to brand guidelines.
Qualification:
- Requires excellent written and verbal communications.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experiences in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
- Must have 2 years minimum experience in a similar capacity with preference given to 5 star hotel backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, innovative with a high drive for results.
