DIRECTOR OF SALES - Resort Based
Sun Hotels and Resorts is a collection of resort brands born from the
inspiration of Mr. Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.
Led by his passion for creating a difference in the Maldives Tourism
Industry that redefines the luxury hospitality experience, Iru Fushi Beach &
Spa is a 5 Star resort located a 45-minute scenic seaplane ride from Male in
the unspoilt Noonu Atoll.
This person will be someone who is passionate in sales. Who is ready to commit for two years to
support the DOSM in ensuring continued high brand awareness and business into
the resort. The position would appeal to
a DOS seeking a new challenge.
The successful candidate is:
- Single
- Emotionally resilient and can live on a remote island
- Strong on luxury sales, with good leisure contacts.
- Working or has worked internationally
- Able to handle a team of Sales Managers resort based and work closely with the DOSM to implement the resort strategy
- Very good at communicating and building relationships – with the team, with clients and able to host FAM trips as relevant
- Self-motivated
- Able to travel on business trips in the region
Requirements
- A background in 5 star hotels and/or luxury resorts at either a property or regional level.
- A detailed knowledge, and several years of work experience, in Asia
- Education and experience that demonstrate a thorough knowledge of sales, account management, business development and building customer relationship
Salary is based on skills and experience.
