Sales Manager – Male Office

Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with good and proper command of the English language.
  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Outlook and Opera.
  • Strong organization skills and strong commitment to ensuring confidentiality of hotel guest and privileged hotel documentation.
  • Possesses aptitude, leadership and management skills and potential for upward mobility
  • Creative mind and keeping with new Sales trends in the business
  • Good attitude, career oriented, flexible and outgoing personality and more passionate for sales
  • Minimum 2 years on the same role
  • Experience in Maldives is a great advantage

Responsibilities:
  • Visit contracted wholesalers and agents in Male and conduct weekly daily sales calls to maintain core business and generate new business.
  • Proactively manage and encourage business production across assigned accounts for Viceroy Maldives, keeping all contacts and production updated.
  • Communicate wholesale contracts, change in promotions/special offers, availability calendar, client information to reservations team as necessary
  • Issue contracts and handle all wholesale/travel industry related communications
  • Handle all incoming inquiries, site inspections, FAM/Press trips from designated territory
  • Work closely with the DOS and Reservations team on brainstorming, problem solving, and monthly reports.
  • Work within the designated Marketing and Revenue plans
  • Issue contracts and handle all wholesale/travel industry related communications
  • Extend support and guidance and conduct sales related training with Reservations Team whenever the need arises
  • Visit contracted wholesalers and agents in Male and conduct product trainings on a regular basis
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure correct billing instructions are set up, followed and prompt settlement is achieved.
