ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT
STAFF COOK
A/C MECHANIC
KITCHEN & LAUNDRY TECHNICIAN
(Preferably Maldivians)
QUALIFICATIONS: (Accounts Payable Assistant)
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with major in Hotel Accounting
- Three years in hotel Accounting Department operations including all sub-departments including one year in a similar position
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Considerable skill in complex mathematical calculations without error
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to move throughout all Accounting areas and perform essential job functions.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret written documents; listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system

QUALIFICATIONS: (Staff Cook)
- High School Graduate
- Combination of education, training or experience including good English communication, to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Minimum 3-years of experience in same position
- Licenses or certificates in First Aid Training, Fire Safety Training, Heath and Kitchen Safety Training and HACCP training is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to fulfil his position requirements
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with co-workers
- Ability to work standing and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
- Ability to make good staff comments in the staff cafeteria

QUALIFICATIONS: (A/C Mechanic)
- High School Graduate
- Combination of education, training or experience including good English communication, to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities of Air Conditioning field. Some experience in Refrigeration’s would be an advantage
- At least one year of previous experience in the same position
- Licenses or certificates in First Aid Training, Fire Safety Training, Heath and Kitchen Safety Training is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to complete all works given to them by engineering management in a correct and satisfactory manner in compliance with management instructions, and ensuring that works are completed to times set, with correct materials in a proper professional manner.
- Ability to operate and maintain all the hotel plant and equipment for which they are given charge including compliance with all maintenance scheduling set or approved by engineering management and noting required unreported repairs of any kind and reporting these faults to the engineering office
- Ability to answer all work orders and radio calls promptly with minimum delay
- Ability to ensure that all work orders issued to them are filled in correctly and returned to the engineering office at the end of each day so that records of work done can be kept

QUALIFICATIONS: (Kitchen & Laundry Technician)
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from High School or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities of Kitchen & Laundry Equipment Electronics and Electrical field
- Minimum 3-years of previous experience as Kitchen & Laundry Technician
- Licenses or certificates in Electronics or Electric Equipment Certificate, Vehicle Driving license & Certified in CPR and First Aid is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to understand how to maintain, service and repair, all Kitchen & Laundry appliances and electronics, including all types of brands of equipment and installation of new equipment
- Ability to do electrical fault find on the above equipment, and to provide out of hours emergency service
- Ability to assist in the set up and operation of a preventative maintenance programme.
