Assistant Restaurant Manager (Maldivian Only)
Scope of Position: To
assist Restaurant Manager and supervise all F&B hosts in any outlet
assigned to. To ensure prompt, efficient and high standards of food and
beverage service in accordance with resort’s best practice and SOP. To aid the
Restaurant Manager in the profitability of these areas and to act on all
policies and procedures as outlined by him/her.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years
experience within five star luxury hotels and resort restaurant operations in
the capacity of an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
Required Skills: Excellent English
communication skills written and oral. Knowledge and abilities in other languages
would be beneficial. Full knowledge of the operations of restaurant procedures.
Full Knowledge on operational systems such as Opera, Micros and Materials
Control.
Duties and Responsibilities: To
assist in the control of their outlet operational budget, ensuring that all
costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability.
Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information
and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing
action actions plan; implementing production, productivity, quality and
customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying
trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Maintains safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following
and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal
regulations. To monitor, anticipate and react to customer needs consistently to
ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
To have a full knowledge of menus and specials of the outlet. To be
able to recommended and upsell.
Food & Beverage Captain / Supervisor (Maldivian Only)
Scope of Position: To ensure polite, efficient and the highest standard
of restaurant service in accordance with the resorts food and beverage
procedures and to the satisfaction of all guests.
Experience: A minimum
of 5 years experience within five star luxury hotels and resort restaurant
operations in the capacity of a Restaurant Captain or Supervisor. Fine dining
experience will be considered as added value.
Required Skills: Excellent
English communication skills both written and oral. Knowledge and abilities in
other languages would be beneficial.
Full knowledge of
the operation of restaurant procedures.
Full knowledge on
operational systems such as Opera, Micros and Material Control.
