We are currently looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

Executive Sous Chef

An opportunity exists for an Executive Sous Chef to join our team of experienced professionals. If you are wanting to further your career and experience, and can fulfill the following requirements then this is a great opportunity
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing the entire kitchen operation
  • Assist in managing labor and food costs
  • Manage menu preparation and maintaining very high standards already implemented
  • Develop new menus and food items with Chef to meet the taste and dining requirements of the guests.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food products to ensure maximum quality
  • Coach and guide young members of the team as well as coordinating with experienced Chef de Parties
  • Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene, and adherence with all Health and Safety standards

Qualification
  • Degree or vocational certificate in culinary arts or related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Minimum 3 years in similar position including management post or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must also show stability in jobs and not have multiple postings for short periods of employment.

A la Carte Chef

This is a great opportunity for a young chef wanting to step up to the next level. 22pax seated fine dining restaurant over the water looking for a Chef excited by food. With a frequently changing Al a Carte menu and top European and fresh local products this is a fun and classy restaurant.

Applicants will want to have
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the capacity of a Chef de Partie plus
  • Good knowledge of western cuisine
  • Assisting the Executive Chef with developing menus of very high standards
  • Enthusiasm and drive for excellence
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good team player that can work with and command respect from the restaurant team
