System Administrator
Qualification Summary
- Minimum 2 years experience as in a similar role in a five star resort / Hotel.
- Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or similar qualification.
- Experience in all Microsoft, Linux and OS X Server / Desktop Operating Systems
- Experience in Hospitality Applications (Opera PMS, Micros POS, Material Control, Fusion HR, SUN Systems, Vision Executive..etc).
- Experience in Network (Data/Voice/Video), Hardware, Software, Printer troubleshooting and implementation skills.
- Experience in VMware virtualization platforms, Cisco Firewalls / Switches, Centrally managed Wi-Fi Networks and WAN Optimization.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft and Cisco professional certificates are highly desired.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware appliances, Data backup..etc.
- Maintain standard configurations, implementation or any other operations according to company policies and procedures.
- Facilitate adequate technical support / consultation for all internal/external systems and users with minimum downtime.
- Analyze requirements, identify existing and possible problems and propose solutions.
- Plan and execute repairs and maintenance of all workstations, servers, printers, telephones, network switches, wiring closest…etc.
